Ingredients

1 Tuna Pocket TRATA smoked tuna
1 baguette for one
4 cherry tomatoes, halved
2 lettuce leaves
1 small onion, sliced
5 black olives, sliced
1 hard-boiled egg, sliced

For the dressing
30 ml. olive oil
½  garlic clove
¼ teaspoon thyme
½  teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon white balsamic vinegar
3 basil leaves
½  teaspoon caper
Freshly ground pepper

Directions

Put the dressing ingredients in the blender and spread the mix inside the baguette.
Add the lettuce, onion, cherry tomatoes, tuna, olives, the egg and add the remaining dressing.
Cut the sandwich in half and enjoy.

 

Tips

  • You can use olive paste instead of olives
  • Don’t skip the dressing, as it makes all the difference in the final taste
  • If you have any leftover dressing, you can make bruschettas with tuna and green olive paste and enjoy them with your friends
  • You can ‘wrap’ your sandwich in a pita or make wonderful tuna burgers!

 

Nutrition tips

  1. If you are in a hurry and can easily skip lunch, this baguette is your solution.
  2. It is preferable to use a whole wheat baguette.
